Choosing a wedding photographer is a big decision, and its important to not only connect with their work, but also them as a person. When my clients book with me, there is one thing that's guaranteed - they inherit a new mate. So here's a little bit about me…

Originating from an Art and Design background, I have been photographing weddings since 2015. After graduating from university with a degree in Fashion & Textiles, I was a fish out of water trying to get a job in the competitive industry of all. I worked in many jobs - a waitress in a hotel, a shop assistant, a bartender, all before moving to Australia for 18 months where I got in an office as a receptionist whilst working alongside a local clothing designer. When I returned to England I pursued my fashion career again and worked for years in Fashion Buying and Merchandising within the retail head office industry.

There was still something missing though, I truly missed creating art which felt like it came from within me - without the constraints of a "brief", or someone elses vision.

I'd dabbled in fashion photography during my education and after being heavily inspired by my own wedding photographer I decided to purchase my first Dslr and give it go - I did a few workshops and some second shooting to gain experience. It was the best decision I ever made and I truly felt like I found my calling in life - as much as a cliche as that may sound.

I live in Cambridgeshire with my husband and our 2 dogs - I am biggest dog lover you'll find. I simply can't be in the presence of one without giving it all the attention and fuss.

I absolutely adore travelling and have a wanderlust to explore as much of this planet as possible. My favourite country is Italy but I have many more countries I can't wait to visit.

I LIVE for music! It is a massive part of who I am and my upbringing. I love going to gigs with my sisters and I have a rather eclectic taste in musical genres. I love everything from Ludovico Einaudi to Deftones.

Of course, my wedding editing process always takes place alongside a killer soundtrack...

A few facts and opinions...

Places I've lived

A fact that people find hilarious

I was born in the West Midlands, moved to Northampton when I did my degree, moved back to Birmingham, then Adelaide, Sydney, Nottingham, Leeds, London, and finally settled just outside of Cambridge.

I have a black Labrador named Steve

Something I love to do in my spare time

I am addicted to diy and up-cycling. Before lockdown I'd barely used an electric drill but I realised the only thing holding me back there were my own limiting beliefs, and discovered a love for power tools.

Bucket list countries/places

Japan, Maldives, Costa Rica, Canada, South Africa, Iceland, Bora Bora, New Zealand, Vietnam (in fact there are too many to name)

Other Hobbies?

Favourite musical genre

As a bit of a wannabe chef, I particularly love to cook. I love all cuisines but my favourite is probably Italian. I am even part of an online Italian cooking group.

Mainly prog rock and metal - It's deeply rooted in me from the influences of my parents. That's not to say it's all I listen to, far from it.

Favourite exercise

Some things I Love

Some things I dislike

Admittedly, I can be pretty inconsistent, but I enjoy weight training and I love yoga. Oh, and walking my dogs of course. I wish I liked running but I broke my left leg when I was 11 after being hit by a car and I've since never enjoyed it.

Freshly ground coffee, craft beer, live music, family gatherings, Pizza, Tacos, kindness, Holidays, city breaks, car singing, a good thunderstorm in the middle of summer.

Rude people, dark winter evenings, instant coffee, the instagram algorithm, slugs that eat all my plants, mosquitoes, donuts (yes, that one's weird I know)

Picture this… you’re looking through your wedding gallery and you see a photo of your dad during a moment that you didn’t see with your own eyes on your wedding day. Just an ordinary, every day moment but one that reflects the essence of that person. You feel happy that you have that moment preserved in time ❤️

As your wedding photographer, I’ll always strive to capture those little moments for you to look back on forever.

Beauty is always in the ordinary ✨

Tell me, is there a dreamier landscape than the beautiful rugged landscape of Italy?

I’ve just realised that I’ve not shared a single image of my grid so far of Rebecca and Aldo’s Umbrian destination wedding since I had to restart my page.

One thing it’s made me realise are all the beautiful places I’ve been lucky enough to photograph weddings and all the love stories I’ve been privileged to capture 📸

SPEECHES 🎤

Speeches are one of my favourite parts of the wedding day to capture the most genuine reactions in wedding guests. I love to people watch, and I bloody love it when I can capture moments like this for my couples, ones they probably didn’t see on the day with their own eyes. I still remember my own wedding day being kind of a blur (and not just because of the wine) but because there’s so much happening, adrenaline is high and it goes by in the blink of an eye. I adore creating a set of images that my clients can look back on for years and piece together the story of their day visually, with all their loved ones captured in a moment in time. For me, that is the legacy of photos ❤️
